Sarah Stanford
-
Sarah is a wife, mother, small business owner, and Clinical Psychologist — with a long-standing passion for walking alongside people as they navigate life’s challenges and transitions.
Sarah’s professional journey began over two decades ago, working as a youth pastor and residential support worker for young people in the child safety system. From there, she became a high school chaplain, supporting the social, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing of more than 1,600 teenagers and their families.
Over time, she noticed a shift, in that the challenges young people and families were facing were growing more complex and that’s when her journey into the field of psychology began.
Working with people from all walks of life, Sarah understands that the human experience is made up of seasons: some of suffering and pain, others of healing and growth. She believes it’s not what happens to us that defines us — but what we choose to do with it.
As a Clinical Psychologist, Sarah sees her role as someone who steps into the trenches of life with you and guides you through to wide open spaces. Whether you're facing anxiety, navigating major stressors, feeling stuck by a traumatic event, Sarah offers support, tools for the journey, and a way forward.
Today, as the founder of a growing psychology practice on the Sunshine Coast, she remains deeply connected to this calling, finding purpose in supporting anyone who walks through the doors of Harmony Psychology.

Dr Jennifer Maleki
-
Dr Jennifer Malecki is a registered psychologist. Jennifer's early career in psychology was with people with severe disabilities and behavioural problems. She then moved to treating adults with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and other mental health conditions.
Jennifer eventually moved into the community where she remained for 14 years treating adults and younger adults from all walks of life and at different stages of their journey with mental health problems.
Jennifer approaches people with care and attention, she listens carefully and without judgement. She views mental health from the practical problems they tend to create for people who find themselves stuck and unable to find their way forward.
Jennifer can use a variety of therapeutic interventions that include using arts based interventions to translate ‘inside’ processes into art. She finds it is particularly useful for people who have difficulties finding the words to describe their struggles.
