Individual Therapy Consultation Fees

Harmony Psychology, Sippy Downs offers services from clinicians with a range of skills and experience. Standard 50-minute consultations are priced between $125 – $300 per session & is required in full on the day of your session. We do not offer bulk billing. However, Medicare rebates ($98.95 - $145.25) may apply for clients with a Mental Health Care Plan referral from your GP.

  • Session fee: $280.00-$300

  • Session fee: $230.00-$260

    Out of Pocket: $125.00

    Please note: Sessions with provisionally registered psychologists are not eligible for Medicare rebates under treatment plans. As a result, these sessions are offered at a significantly reduced rate.

  • Once we have matched you with a psychologist, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your first session. This payment will be taken over the phone at the time of scheduling and will be applied to your first appointment.

    If you need to cancel or reschedule, our standard cancellation policy will apply. Please see the Cancellation Fees tab for more information.

  • If for any reason you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require a minimum of 3 business days’ notice.

    Cancellations or rescheduled sessions less than 3 business days’ notice will incur a cancellation fee equal to the full consultation cost and will be charged to your nominated debit/credit card. 
    This includes same day cancellations or non-attendances.

    Third-party payers (e.g., Workcover, DVA) do not cover cancellation fees, and as such you are full responsible for these charges.

    Example 1

    Your session is scheduled for Tuesday at 4:00 pm, and you need to cancel. You call our office on Saturday and leave a message requesting your appointment be cancelled. Because this is less than 3 business days’ notice, you will be charged the full cancellation fee equal to the scheduled session fee. To avoid this fee, notice would have needed to be provided by Thursday 4:00 pm.

    Example 2

    Your session is scheduled for Thursday 9am, and you need to cancel. You SMS our office on Monday at 8am to cancel your session. Because this is more than 3 business days’ notice, you will not be charged a cancellation fee.

  • Sessions outside our operating hours (8:30am–5:00pm) will incur an additional $20.00 fee

  • Any correspondence (face-to-face, phone, email, and/or reports) or consultations outside of scheduled appointments will be billed in 15-minute units at the Clinicans standard hourly rate.
