Dr Jonathan Saville is a Registered Psychologist certified by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. He began his career as a chiropractor, working across various clinical settings in Victoria and New South Wales. While continuing his work in physical health, he developed a growing interest in the psychological aspects of wellbeing—eventually pursuing studies in psychology. Since transitioning into the field, Jonathan has gained broad experience across community, government, and private practice settings, supporting clients with a wide range of concerns.
A husband and proud father to four adult children and two stepchildren, Jonathan brings a deeply personal understanding of life’s complexities. His lived experience has shaped his grounded, compassionate approach to therapy and allows him to relate meaningfully to the real-world challenges his clients face.
Jonathan is particularly passionate about men’s mental health, offering a safe, non-judgmental space for men to explore emotional wellbeing, identity, and the pressures they may carry in silence. His work helps break down stigma and encourages more men to engage with support in a way that feels approachable and respectful.
With a commitment to delivering thoughtful, evidence-based care, Jonathan ensures each client receives tailored support as they move toward greater clarity, balance, and wellbeing.
Evidence-Based Therapy
At Harmony Psychology, we use a range of proven, evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to meet your unique needs:
-
CBT is a practical, goal-oriented therapy that helps identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours. It’s effective for anxiety, depression, stress, and many other mental health challenges.
-
EMDR is a specialized therapy designed to help people process and heal from trauma and distressing memories. It’s widely used for PTSD, anxiety, and phobias, providing relief by reprocessing traumatic experiences.
-
Schema Therapy explores deep-rooted patterns and beliefs formed in childhood that affect your current relationships and emotions. It’s especially helpful for chronic emotional difficulties and personality disorders.
-
Art Therapy uses creative expression as a pathway to explore emotions, reduce stress, and improve self-awareness. It’s beneficial for people who find it difficult to express feelings in words, including children and adults alike.
-
ACT focuses on accepting difficult thoughts and feelings while committing to actions that align with your values. It helps increase psychological flexibility and improve overall well-being.
